Preface
The World is like a coin; it has two sides. One side is bright with life and joy while the other is shrouded in darkness and plagued with death. Gaia or Earth Realm is where humans reside. They go about their lives, blissfully ignorant to the darker side. Tartanus is home to everything child fears. Fiends inhabit this primitive world. With its medieval way of life, tyrants and dictators rule. Innocent blood is spilt. Chaos erupts.
In the beginning, the two had been unaware of the other having little to no contact. But, the barrier keeping them apart had holes. These holes or portals lead to the opposing worlds. Citizens of both Gaia and Tartanus began finding them. Humans vanished and monsters wreaked havoc on the world. Soon rulers of Tartanus became aware of the portals. They immediately took advantage. For centuries the human race had been enslaved to the fiends. It wasn’t until a man named Vincent Black, formed an army. Being blessed by a powerful sprit in Tartanus, they had the power to over through the most powerful dictator, Ashtoreth. They sealed his body in a giant block of crystal and locked him away in the deepest parts of the Acantha caves. Then they drove all the fiends back to Tartanus, sealing as many portals as possible. To ensure that Gaia is never taken over again, Vincent established a school to train other generations to fight fiends and ensure the peaceof Gaia. In honor of the spirit that helped them, he deemed the school Gwenore Academy.
